    Lightbulb BSNL Capping Bandwidth.

A word of caution to all BSNL customers if you are experiencing slow speeds even if no fault of your system and line. Its bsnl who is capping your bandwidth. Example my connection since august i'm facing slow speeds 25-30kbps. Come sep 1st to 15th i get good speed upto 1.2mbps and then a drop of 30kbps till yesterday . My Lineattenuation was blamed for the reason by my SDE and he will rectify it . Till date he has not shown up and does not asnwer my call. I was made to believe my LA was the reason and what more my system was blamed ultimately for virus, my modem is faulty etc. They had no proof to support their claims only buying time everyday.
I got fed up and BSNL came up with some good HomeCombo plans and i went personally finally after they made me round the bush and met the SDE and he immediately changed my plan without any application (Nice guy) and by evening you wont believe i was getting speeds 1.7mbps i could not believe my eyes. Forget the line attenuation was the same i rechecked. All the values were the same as previous when i was not getting speed.
The moral of the story is I personally feel BSNL is reserving bandwidth for sometime in the month for new connections and distributing our precious bandwidth to other connections. So next time you get slow speeds dont bang your pc,your modem etc the problem lies with bsnl's internal policy and their technicians are well trained to fool you no matter how much you bang your head as i did.

Wanna try it go ahead change your plan see the difference immediately.

    Feedback Please.

Are you having any proof ?

Bandwidth capping happens only for UL users worldwide. But I'm on a 750 UL connection and I'm getting almost the 512 kbps speed.
