i am new user of bsnl broadband and now i am using monthly plan of 600/-
about usage of 2.5 gb and i want to nw how can i chaeck my usage of broadband, and from where i get dataone account.

Hi welcome to India Broadband Forum
you can check your usage at "data.bsnl.in" you need a portal id and password. ask your bsnl dataone CC for portal id and pass. You can also use this id to change your service id and portal id password.
there is no use for account no.

If your Ip is 117.xx.xx.xx and UserID abcd... @ bsnl.in
go to BSNL Portal
Get 14digit Usage portal Id and PW from Exchange.
( if interested email Id also . did you fill up any in the application ?)

You may have to register in Selfcare portal with your choice of ID/
if you location is listed there ( there are 4 websites)
Password will be sent to your email.

You can also get SMS alert about usage.
4. To keep track of your usage ( including NU) download
NetWorx application from softperfect.com.

softperfect.com to check locally.

Readings by BSNL meter final.

1. Go to data.bsnl.in, log in using your 14 digit portal ID, password is normally password. Check under post paid services.

2. Register here

4. Use a bandwidth meter. Shaplus or Networx will do.
