Default BSNL EVDO@Rs.550 per month???? Anyone???

    Heya,

I was at the BSNL office y'day wen I came across an ad regd BSNL EVDO@Rs.550 per month?

Does any1 ve any solid info regd this? If yes, I would really appreciate it if u could mention how much V ve pay monthly?

Also, wats the cost of the EVDO device? Do we have to purchase it or is there a monthly rent for it like for the modem?

How s the EVDO service? Is it satisfactory?

    Thanx!

It is Rs. 750 + tax. Check here: .:BSNL EVDO:.

EvDO offers 3.1 Mbps unlimited. The speed you will get depend on the distance from the tower and no of users per tower. You will get something about 180 - 200 KBps in normal case. You can buy the modem or get it on rent. Please check with the local exchange. Before buying it , try to get a demo at your place.

    I saw Rs.550 in the ad y'day..
MayB, its for customers who buy the modem. For those interested in rental, its exclusive of the modem rent of Rs.200.

Do you guys really expect 3.1 Mbps speed Unlimited for only Rs. 750 (+ tax). It is not unlimited, It actually has a 10 GB limit which BSNL likes to call unlimited (so wise of them!)

Hmm....guess the offices are hoarding the devices for reasons best known to them. Otherwise I get a negative reply everywhere I call.

There is no 10 GB limit. It is purely unlimited. But speed may vary according to no. of users per tower and distance from tower.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.. There is no limit, it is truely unlimited. The factor which can limit you is the distance from the tower and the no of user per tower. I, E the speed you are getting
