Thread: when portal password is given?????

I was told that this password shall be given in the mail id-user@bsnl.in.

It's been 4 years I have never found that password.
Installation staff had given me portal id,user id & modem password.
but not portal password.
modem password does not accepted by portal.
so far I could never check my usage,as it was UL so I did not bothered about that.
Bsnl office only has my userid and nothing else.
what is strange that with modem password I had opened the bsnl.in email account and changed the password.
but data usage page and portal never opened.

Password for portal is password.

Please check and report. whether 117.xx.xx.xx or 59.xx.xx.xx

Download NetworX application from softperfect.com.
Record your usage on hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis.

For users with Ip 117.xx.xx.xx
set 1>
userId/password
SET2 :
14digit portal Id and default PW password
( get it from exchange J.T.O BB)
Set 3 :
after log in to data.bsnl.in depending on location
register with your OWN Id if your location is listed there.
://sdc.selfcare.bsnl.co.in EXAMPLE.
Password supposed to be sent to your email ID.
then check usage in selfcare portal.
set4 :
email ID and password.
If you had filled up in application form try it.
or again contact BSNL Exchange/CC/JTO.
Set 5 :
Modem ID usually admin
Password usually admin.

mention your location :
check selfcare web sites .
Register and get password to your email address.

3. Ip 117.xx.xx.xx(A new 14 digit ID and Pw Password required)
more facilities, like SMS warning,selfcare sites, available.
Basic web site is

Check your location listed in any website below.

selfcare.sdc.bsnl.in for Hyderabad users. etc
sefcare.wdc.bsnl.in for Maharastra users etc
selfcare.edc.bsnl.in for some towns in Orissa. etc.

Try root or admin. If nothing works, call the local exchange. They keep it in their records. Just 2 minute business for them.
