Thread: How to Check the Broadband usage in bsnl?

i am using the bsnl broadband from 8months. till the last month the broadband usage checking was very easy, but recently the bsnl has changed the usage site, previously it was BSNL Portal. but if i open this portal site now, it was showing me some another site to check the broadband usage- BSNL Customer Care Portal.
now iam totally confused on how to check my broadband usage. bcoz, my plan is HOME 500C.

1. Hyderabad users are expected to check their usage details in the self care portal. To use it, you need to register there using consumer no.from your bill.

2. Use a bandwidth meter. Try one from Shaplus or Networx.

3. Try bbusage.bsnl.in

I have tried to register to that site, but it is telling that "the user id entered is invalid" .

A few other members have also reported this problem. Some of them talked to the customer care and got the ID, entered and working fine. Call them ask user ID.

STEP1: Get your 'customer id' from the local exchange Jto/Sdo. Only they can give you the 10 digit 'customer id' This is the first & most imp. step.

STEP2: Goto:
Loading Portal... (north india) OR
CRM (east india) OR
Loading Portal... (west india) OR
CRM (south india) depending on whether you are in north, east, west or south india.

STEP3: Click on the link "existing customer click here to register"

STEP4: Fill in the customer id & click 'continue'

STEP5: Fill in the hint ques, ans, preferred user name, & email.
User name & computer generated password will be sent to your email address within 24 hrs.

STEP6: After you get your password, repeat STEP2, enter your username id & password.

STEP7: Give me some reps!! Thanx in advance.

yeh its ok I also have 500c and I always check my usage at data.bsnl.in every time and there was no problem. try using another browser it works perfect on chrome and opera.
the site name(BSNL Portal) u have written were also opening in my browser

@meetdilip. Could you specify what user ID other than the ones on the top of the paper bill and our regular bb ID we need to know. Cause I have both, (including the portal ID), and the same error (let's call it that) apllies. What's with BSNL making us jump numerous hoops just to have a look at our usage anyway? No secrets there and I think this hassle is totally unnecessary. Its a pity there's only one major BB service provider in this country. It seems they get away with whatever they do.

For some members, the user ID in the phone bill was not working. According to their feedback, they got it working after calling the customer care.

i have got registered in that site...
but i dnt know where can i see my usage details...
please help me...
it is just showing me my details only...
it is not showing me the link where can i see my usage details.......

1.Click on 'My services' You will get 4 options:
View bills
Make a payment
View past payments
View broadband usage

2.Click on 'view broadband usage'

i was trying to login to that site...
but the site is not opening and it is showing me the following message.

can you tell me what does that message mean...

I am checking here.. dataone.in
in this page - go to dataone account administration.' thereafter login and see in service records..
they are giving past 12 months daily records..
