Default I know what is "BBMRNT"; but why now?

I had the plan 500Combo since 28th feb 2008 with type-1 modem on rent. BSNL stopped collecting rent for modem after 20months.

I gave the application to change the plan to 1350ULF on Aug 23. The plan has been changed; fine. I gave the application for changing the type-1 modem to type-2(with wifi)[on rent, of course] on sept. 16, got it on 19th.

In the bill for 1-Aug to 31-Aug,
    BBRNT: 500
    BBMRNT: 275
    Tax: 0.103*(500+275)~=80
    Deposit:1350-500(which was already given)=850
    Total: 1705.
I'm fine with all of these but BBMRNT. Why has that been added? This bill has been generated on 7th sept. Got the hard copy of the bill today!

    Demystify please...

    BBMRNT: 275

After 24 months modem rent for type 1 reduced to Rs 25 P.M.
May be they have calculated the arrears .
    for period 11/2009 to 08/2010
    Check sept bill

    2.
You could have purchased/retained the Type 1 modem for Rs 1000 0r Rs1100/= less 50% of rental paid since 2/2008 to 8/2010. ( in BSNL site see FAQ item 45)
