Thread: For new BB, getting more speed... why???

i have got a new bsnl bb home ul750, according to that i should get d/l speed about 70 kbps, but i am getting speed of more than 250 kbps....

i'm afraid i have been given wrong plan....

what could be the matter?

Check in your Usage portal data.bsnl.in
Details of tariff plan change.
It should show "provisioned " with effective date.
Also check usage to check that total shows 0 for all dates.

check the usage total should be 0
and aslo check is it provisioned with effective date

If all are OK then keep your mouth shut dont say anything to BSNL and enjoy the speed
You will be never charged extra.

i am only been given the id & "password" which is only for connection to internet. nothing else they gave me...

To log into data.bsnl.in you need portal ID. If you don't have it, make a call to the local exchange. They keep it in their records. It is just a 2 minute business.

i was very afraid coz one of my cousin came to my home when i was absent, and seeing the awesome speed, he started downloading stuff about 6 GB, when i came, he told me see bro i downloaded 3 movies and blah blah blah and i shouted on him by abusing words...... later i told him the deal and we both got into tention.... he he he he

But the Promotional Offer is for the Unlimeted Free download for 15 days who are using the limited usage plan I think, dont mention there upto 2Mbps download for 15 days for the users of UL.

Perhaps BSNL circles are following this old circular..
