Default should I go for D-link GLB 802 c modem?

presently using ZTE zxdsl 831 router, only problem is random link failure.

I use combo unlimited plan, earlier I used to get 200-300 kbps speed now I get 500-600 kbps speed.
The reason for changing router is random disconnection.

Done everything changed the splitter, lodged noise complaint with the BSNL.
SNR,attenuation values were also approved by the boarders here.

earlier also my ZTE modem(bought new in 2007 end) went astray, then BSNlL guy replaced it with another used one free of cost 5 months back.

Instead of again going for BSNL modem I am thinking of buying dlink glb 802 c
modem which is available at 1675 rs.

is it the best modem or anything better than it?I dont know about netgear or linksys models.

    please advise

    regards

my requirement are for LAN ethernet, only for single pc.
    no wi-fi.

    i am using d-link GLB 802c,
it has one Ethernet and one usb port for internet usage,
USB works fine in Xp but not in Vista or Win,
Ethernet Never gave any problems for me,
its easy to configure without bsnl technicians if you know your username and password,
I had also faced disconnection before on a utstarcom modem but i registered some(more then 10-15) complaints then i was getting sometimes disconnection then switched to this modem everything fine from that point

I have been suggested that netgear dm 111p is better option than dlink glb 802 c.
    has any one used it?

Ultimately bought dlink 802 glb @ 1650 with bill from local shop.
available at net @ 1540(including shipping cost) but shipping time was 7-10 days.
netgear,Linksys not available in my small city.

configuration was much easier than it's older model. u have to just choose ISP and then enter userid/password,and everything is done.
no need to enter vpi/vci etc.

    ya overheating problem is there.

checked the speed(twice) and it is around 600 kbps (more than 100 kbps faster than my ZTE modem.)
