Thread: how to connect wifi

i have brought new bsnl broadband connection and i want to know how to connect my modem and my laptop wireless.pls advice me on this.

modem type :teracom type2 model no T2-B-Gawv1.4U10y-BI
os:windows7

1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode

Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

2. Enable DHCP in the modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of the connection, set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

i tried but i cant add mac address .
when in add mac address the 192.168.1.1 page says pls enter valid mac address.
i got the mac address in cmd with ipconfig/all
but when i disable the mac auth in 192.168.1.1 page,i can connect my laptop to the modem.
wat to do now ?
