    Default HOW TO KNOW WHETHER MY BSNL PLAN has changed from 500c to 750UL.

    I checked it it by sending sms to 52295 by typing bbu [my landline no. with its std code] and in reply I got the msg from BX-BSNL-BB stating that ''dear customer your broadband usage till date for this month=0mb.Ur Free Limit=UL For Your Bphone [my landline no.].''
    previously after changing my plan and registering here I got the msg from BX-BSNL-BB that my plan is provisioned.

    But just now I sent an sms typing ''bb usage'' to +919447051550 and in reply I got the sms from 53733 that ''Broadband usage reportear Customer,the broadband usage for the account ************bsnl.in is 4343 MB at 12/10/2010 20:55:14hrs.-BSNL BROADBAND.


    NOW,what do I understand from this that my plan has never been changed into 750Ul or what?how can i be charged with 4343MB in one and no charge in another.what's going on.enlighten me someone on this.what do i do?

    ANYWAYS IS DATAFOX SAFE AND RELIABLE?WHAT ABOUT SHAPLUS SOFTWARE?IS IT SAFE AND RELIABLE?

    2. Shaplus is good tool. I am using it along with Networx and Bitmeter. However, one is enough. Bitmeter has good graphics but values are not reliable. Networx and Shaplus give accurate values.

    3. Datafox is equally good. But the author has not updated support for self care sites.

    meetdilip,

    data.bsnl.in portal does not work anymore,it shows to download self-care software from its site.and even after downloading the software,it does not install.SO,plz give some other ideas.DAT PORTAL NO LONGER WORKS.

    1. Please mention your circle.

    2. Log in to self care portal and check the current plan. No need to install self care software. Many reports that it is corrupting the settings.

    I did check out the self care portal.I am in the bhubaneshwar circle.But I was unable 2 register on it.tried 100 of times.still it did not work out.even after giving my bb user id,it says it did not exist and when i tried to register by clicking on N for no broadband.then it said my customer id is wrong.it just does not work.i logged in another bsnl portal with the same customer id it works dere.but that other site only gives the sum total of the bill,no details.I called customer care.They said my 750plan has already been made effective.shall I continue with downloads?

    Check speed here.

    My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
    If you got more than 1 Mbps speed earlier, your plan is changed to Home 750!
    2. Also check in your modem ADSl data page.

    Check ur daily usage..if in the "chargeable unit excluding night unlimited " column showing 0(zero)..then ur plan has been changed

    i logged in another bsnl portal with the same customer id it works
    1. You could have given the details.
    Userid abcd@ dataone .in or abcd @bsnl.in
    Your IP: is it 59.xx.xx.xx or 117.xx.xx.xx?
    2.
    Since you have queries about DataFox ,
    seems your IP is 59.xx.xx.xx and ID abcd @dataone.in

    .Datafox extracts your usage data from Bsnl Old portal/s and shows total in Taskbar. 1,00,000 downloads so far .
    4.
    From Datafox go Direct to BSNL portal and check menu to see change of plan.

    I checked my broadband speed.download speed is 589kbps and upload speed is 160kbps.what do u think,has my plan changed from 500c to 750UL??????

    How do I check my modem ADSl data page???????My IP is 117.xx.xx.xx.My User Id is in abcd @bsnl.in.I am unable to register in bsnl self care.I check my total bill in this site ''htt p://218.248.8.50/orissabill/bill.php'',but it shows only the sum total amount of broadband bill and telephone bill.No info is available there.When at first I tried to register in the self care bsnl portal,it showed that my bb user Id is wrong.and after that when I tried to register without saying yes for broadband then it said my customer id is wrong.after sometime it says that maybe user id exists and then after sometime it gave some other reason.I am frustrated with this.I called the customer care.They said they have already changed my plan into 750UL.But I cant trust them bcoz in msg it showed mY broadband usage as 4343MB.WHAT DO I DO NOW?HELP ME OUT.

    You guys keep your location SO SECRET , as if America's CIA is after you ?
    2.
    There are 4 selfcare portals, and you have not mentioned which website you accessed.
    3.
    To access your ADSL data page you should open your Modem/router's menu pages.
    ( another well guarded secret ! give details of your modem/make/number.)
    4.
    Appears you are on home 750 plan .
    5.
    Firstly you have to register in Selfcare portal with your OWN
    choice ID. fill up the details , secret question email address, consumer number as shown in Telephone bill and say you have broadband.
    Bsnl supposed to send you a Password to the email address , you
    provided, to log in next time to access your Broadband usagefacilities like d/l data change password etc.

    6.
    Appears you have registered without giving info as BB user, and the form could be different now. ( mainly meant for telephones/cellphones etc)

    Do you even read the question before posting your answer.What part of ''I could not register after saying yes to broadband and as i got an error msg that i dont have an active broadband,so i checked no for broadband,then also i could not register'' did you not understand?Have you even read my question.you know what improve your comprehension skills.maybe then you could answer better.

    I have given all relevant information,including my location,the self care portal where I tried to login.Its not my fault if you felt it unnecessary to read the whole post before posting your comment.And I tried to register exactly the way it is meant to be.Even the customer care acknowledged this problem of mine and they said they would get back to me with the solution as soon as possible.As for you, try to read the whole of the post before making such amateur and RUDE posts.
