I am using a BB Home UL 750 plan.
The upload speed is more than download speed. ( tested from speedtest,net and other sites also)

Download speed -0.55Mbps
Upload speed - 71Mbps

I am using UTStarcom UT-300R2U modem.

Don't believe speed test sites. Do you in actual getting that upload speed ?

Yes tested that way too.

I downloaded Visual studio from Microsoft site.
The avg. download speed was 50kBps ( I use DAP )

Also I uploaded some videos to youtube the avg. speed was 70kBps.

Also many times i get the speed result as 0.99Mbps, but when i try to download at that very time the speed is same as 50-53kBps

Ok. Speed test results at times give inaccurate results. What you get on direct download and upload is your actual speed. What is the issue then ? You are not happy with high upload speed ? Want to reduce it ?

I have no issue with the high upload speed.

as the plan is of 512kbps I think I should get download speed upto 60-64kBps.

Let the upload speed be the same!!

My friend, next to my house has the same plan and he gets 65kBps dowload speed. The SNR and other values are nearly same for both of us.

We interchanged modem and checked but still the same.
