Thread: Getting Unreal speeds in bsnl wimax

I have bsnl wimax connection with 512kbps speed unlimited inn 750 rs. but i never get those speeds , i always get more than they promised i.e.2-3 mbps.i also tested this with speedtest.net . I am posting these screenshots.speedtest.net/result/988477886.png this is from a server in usa.

this is from karachi.i get speed of 200kB/s in torrents and mozilla firefox.there is no buffering of any web videos.and it is unlimited.

try tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net
and retest at above site.

PAKISTAN server shows better speed due to nearer route, may be. .

Did you get the WIMAX connection recently ?

seems you got the connection around 4th or 5th October2010
All BB new users are allowed 15 days FREE download at speed upto 2 Mbps ( 256KB/sec * conditions apply !)
Check with CC whether this facility extended to WIMAX also.
