Default PC Configuration for Internet TV

I am excited by a whole lots of TV channels available on the Internet.
I want to watch it on my 42" LCD TV.
I have a P4 Machine which i have connected to my LCD Tv, i feel it is slow.
I am planning to buy a new PC.

Can you suggest me a Good configuration for PC for watching live TV streams (no buffering) etc on my LCD TV. PC with HDMI output would be better and also any graphics card required or any addons.

Without buffering no video or audio you can see or play. P4 is good for your 42" LCD TV, only need a graphics card with HDMI output. P4 Motherboard comes with AGP slot so you need to have a AGP slot graphics card with HDMI support, you said you have connected LCD Tv to your P4 machine so I gues you have the right AGP graphic card.

What you need is the fast Internet connection for live TV streams. You dont mention what is the speed of your Net connection. The minium speed is require for the streaming video and audio 2MBps but if you are looking for the better quality streaming Video then you have to upgrade the Net connection speed. Dont think that live TV streams or live audio streams does not need buffring if it not need buffring then you can play live streams on dialup connection.

From my openion you need to upgrade your net connection instead of upgrading your PC.
But if you really want to upgrade your PC then go for i3 processor because this processor made for HD Graphics because this processor comes with advanced video engine that delivers smooth, high-quality HD video playback, and advanced 3D capabilities. With this processor if you have iTUNE access then you can see the HD quality on your 42" LCD TV but you need 24MBps line for this HD streaming.

A tall order ! You can specify the language to narrow search.
I find many free websites for Tamil TV channels, Now watching regularly in U.S. ( some serials of SUN TV)
TRY google search example : streaming video Udaya sun TV
    For some Hindi channels

I have upgraded to 4MBPS BSNL BB scheme for watching Internet TV.
I understand for HD viewing u need more. U have given me a good suggestion, let me check a graphics card with a HDMI output. That must really work. Thanks.
