Thread: Need ITI DNA-A201 BEI Type-1 ADSL 2+ USB drivers

hi friends

i m using bsnl broadband from last 4 years. last month becz of short circuit in our area, the modem got burst, then i bought new modem from bsnl, model mentioned below;

ITI DNA-A201 BEI Type-1 ADSL 2+

simultaneously my Ethernet has also gone, i bought new Ethernet card and inserted in slot as per instruction, but PCI slot is not recognizing the card. Due to which LAN is not detected.

But when i connect my modem through USB, itS connectivity IS shown i.e. 12MBPS, but i m unable to connect to net.

i m geting error 769 - some specified location messages is coming ( i think which means LAN is not specified)

Do i need to install USB drivers for this MODEM, if yes PLEASE CAN U HELP ME IN GETTING THE DRIVERS & CONFIGURATION OF MODEM WHEN USB IS USED


NOTE: Phone line is working well, Pinging also giving replies

BSNL BROADBAND MODEM DRIVERS (Unofficial site): DNA-A201BEI usb driver

If you got installation cd , it should be same.
First download the drivers to say C:/USB drivers for dna a 201
then restart the system connecting the usb cable and modem.
Let windows detect new hardware.
(You may have to uninstall the old drivers. check details )

Mention the details of lan card you purchased. (Realtek ??)

Post ipconfig /all data.

dna a201 BEi likely to be same as Ut300r2u ( new model).
