Thread: PC hangs when connection is established

I am using Terracom Type II ADSL 2+CPE/IAD modem for broadband connection. But as soon as the connection is establised through the ethernet, the PC hangs indefinitely.
Only forceful power shut-down is the remedy.

Try safe mode and check. Use any firewall and check which programs are accessing internet.

1. Safe mode.
2. In this condition TRY Control+ALT + DEL and access Task manager.
Other than windows applications close other applications and try.
3. Try a different browser.
