Thread: about:BSNL BROADBAND PLANS

hello guys,

i have created this thread so that we all can know about bsnl broadband plans, things like,

- in real, how much speed we get in different plans (test at speedtest.net)
- how much maximum data we are able to download per month in different plans

for this, simply in your post,
1. post the official plan name (for this refer to this official bsnl page)
2. post the maximum amount of data (in gb) you have downloaded per month in the current plan.
3. paste the test result from speedtest.net

i am starting by posting my results,

I know, speed test results can be deceiving

my plan is BBG FN COMBO 500
SPEED Around 1.6 mbps

Monthly Reantal -750rs.
Average downloads - 90-100 gb per month
Speed - 200-250kbps.

Broadband Plan: BBG-FN-HOME-500-MONTHLY
Download Limit(MB): 2560

which plan is this ?

BB PLAN : 500C
DOWN/UP: 77GB
DAY LIMIT/PER MNTH :1.5GB
HAPPY HOURS :2AM to 8AM (Unlimited Download)

i dont know that.but the monthly rental is 750 rs as people at exchange told me.they told me that there is also another plan in wimax at rs 1099 monthly unlimited with double speed.and my plan is unlimited.i asked them that there is no such plan given at bsnl site .to which they replied that these are new plans.the people at exchange know my family well.so i trusted them.and i am very happy with this plan.and i am using the user id and password of the exchange.

if you are using bsnl broadband/wimax, can you login to data.bsnl.in and click on track your order and see which plan you are currently provisioned with.
seems to be a good deal. if you could share with us too, it would be great.

the data.bsnl.in is not for wimax user and by the way i dont have my portal id.here is the speedtest which i was not able to post here before.

I am using BB Home Combo UL 750. Unlimited download at 512 Kbps (no fair usage limit) for whole day.

No need to wake up till late night or put timer in computer and go to sleep.

I use 40 GB per month (peak). 12 GB per month (normal cases).
