Thread: adsl usb modem for bsnl BB

Hello guys

I am bsnl broadband user on adsl modem.
I got a ALCATEL LUCENT adsl modem which work on USB power and communication. This modem may work even if power fails.
But problem is that it is not working.

Can any body help me to get thru it ??

i have tried following settings

VPI 0
VCI 35
Encapsulation -- PPoATM NULL
PP0ATM LL
Modulation -- Mutimode

But it is not working... Please help me.

need, model number and a photograph if possible. where are you located? if at Hyderabad , perhaps i can try to debug it.

If there is PPPoE option then use it instead of PPoATM

Does the modem look like this ?

Any Page shows device info or connection status ?

Try as suggested above PPPoE, and check whether you can enter bsnl ID and PW.

Well, search from google, there maybe some setting guide about ADSL USB modem.
