Please give feedback here. and confirm you could do port forwarding. .
Duplicating/replying same info/query in new thread, for same member , not correct.

NAT stands for Network Address Translation is useful to share a public IP over many computers, simply put you can share same internet connection among multiple computers.

Port forwarding means only certain ports of a computer(host) are visible to the internet so that it can receive incoming connections, for example torrent uploading only one or two ports are visible to the outside world

DMZ Host Demilitarized Zone Host. This receives the packets received from the internet not specifically meant for any other computer and this host is totally exposed to the internet i.e. visible to the outside world. DMZ Host is accessible from within the LAN and WAN but it cannot initiate session back into the private LAN.

If the incoming packet has a port number then it is directed to the Virtual server, certain IP protocols have no port numbers then it is directed to the dmz host if there be one otherwise the packet is dropped by the router.

To receive packets with port number a virtual server is enough else a DMZ Host is necessary depending upon the need we configure a host as a virtual server or a DMZ Host or if a machine is application specific then port forwarding is enough(just for BT Downloads).

Hope the above explanations provide clarification.
