Thread: "risk factor of torrent downloding"

Hello everybody................

i heard somewhere that if i try to download something through bit torrent or u torrent then it will create risk for me. i was get caught anytime by the cyber cop. i am already downloading some movie and some of other application by bit torrent client, can i fall into the risk zone due to that? is there any lawsuit in India against the torrent downloading???


please help me about that issue..........i am in a serious tension........i am stop the downloading ..........what can i do now???????

Do not distribute the movies. Keep it within yourself and delete after watching. Most of the software and o/s are VERY COSTLY to buy for a common man. So it is nothing wrong in downloading through torrents.

Do not install the software in areas where raid comes frequently (in colleges, offices etc).

What you are doing is certainly illegal. But the no. of users who do this is too large, the law enforcing agencies are not able to keep track of such activity. Hence you are safe.
