I think initial cost is high for a 3G data card. If you have a 3G mobile, you can use it as modem and connect to internet. That will be a better option if you need it only for 2 months.

    Exclamation

this connection is free, if u choose the right plan. pay special attention to the "+" or "C" after each plan name, with BSNL.

i think u need only pay a little deposit, like one month's rent.
The unlimited plans start from 499 onwards.

however, u need to know that this process is a bit time consuming. It took 4 months since i applied for them to give me a connection. It was on a new landline.
I subscribe to the 750ULC plan. so landline rental is free. calls to BSNL phones are also free (not listed as a feature, but shows up as a discount on my bill).

thanx for the warning..taking a landline connection and then disconnecting within 2 months is also not such a good option..

    6 months unlimited - Rs.4200
    Data card - Rs.2000
    the festival offer sounds excellent...
