Thread: How to Get Security Deposit back?

Six month back i took BSNL Land line with Internet connection (BBG Combo 1111 - Rs. 1111/monthly). I think i paid 2k as security deposit. after 3 months i have downgraded my plan to BBG FN Combo 500 (Rs 500/monthly). now i am with this plan. and i am getting 600+ monthly bill. i think there is no security deposit required for plans upto 500 rupees. Now my question is what happened to my 2k security deposit i paid earlier? is there anyway to get it back or to adjust with monthly bill without disconnecting my connection?

You can give a letter to A.O , asking him, to
adjust this amount Rs 1111/= ( only one month's BB rent as security deposit)
Commited Period for FREE MODEM** 12 months.

If modem wasissued free you may have to pay Modem rent for 6 months for plan Combo1111/FNcombo500.
and security deposit of Rs 500 (type I)or Rs1000(type II) will be retained by BSNL. or adjusted towards outright purchase of modem/router(.Rs 1100 or Rs 1800)
confirm the modem issued to you ,and no modem security deposit was paid.

Enclose photo copy of first bill. ( need break up : installation charges
effective date of connection etc )

Talk to the accounts officer. That will be the best thing to do.
