Thread: BroadBand which gives me 1.5Mbps

I recently changed my plan to 1400UL with 2Mbps speed expecting atleast a speed of 1.5 Mbps. But when checked on speedtest.net the speed has not exceeded more than 0.5Mb. Most of the streaming videos still buffer.
When checking on dataone.in the bandwidth shows 3.8 Mbps
Can any one suggest broadband plan which can give me a full 1.5 Mbps when i check it on Speedtest.net. Monthly plan should be less than Rs 2000.

Even if you choose another plan with 2 Mbps or more, you may get the same speed if your line condition is poor.

1. Get your line checked by line man for joints and non insulated parts. Post your SNR and attenuation values.

2. Download any file from Microsoft and report the speed here.

3. Talk to the Senior Divisional Engineer about this problem and seek help.

4. Which modem do you use ? Mention model and make.

I have checked thes details
The SNR is less.
Using modem Huawei WA3002G4.
Line men says line is fine.
I have called the divisional manager but he has no solution to the problem.

Can anyone tell me what actually is the speed i should be getting on this connection in Bangalore. I do not have a reference.
