Default BSNL 3G DATA CARD Problems (Not able to download & some sites not opening)

    Hello Everyone,
Few days ago I purchased BSNL 3G Data Card (7.2 mbps speed) for Rs. 2500/- and their 6 month unlimited pack for Rs. 4200 /-. I have successfully installed it on my laptop.
I am able to browse internet but the Problem is I am not able to open some sites while other sites are opening fine.
Another problem is I am not able to download from rapidshare, megaupload, hotfile etc. etc.
Whenever I try to download something from rapidshare. it gives the error " Too many parallel downloads from your IP address or the limit for free downloads has been reached."

Hotfile also gives the error that your limit has reached

When I try to download something from Megaupload, it gives the error " Your IP address - . - . - . - is currently downloading a 684859904 byte AVI file.
Please finish this download before starting another one. If you have just recently canceled this download, try again in a few minutes, as the download connection may not have terminated yet. If - . - . - . - is not your IP address, you may be sharing a proxy or NAT gateway with other users. If you have configured an HTTP proxy in your browser, disable it and try again. If you don't have a proxy configured, using a different download port may bypass your ISP's proxy. If you see your real IP address listed below, please select it, then try your download again"

I am unable to understand what the problem is because i can download same files from above sites using my Bsnl Broadband without any problem.
Can somebody please guide me in detail how to correct this problem.
    Thanks In Advance

    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi Arvind,

The problem you have outlined above is just like my situation it is because of shared ip from the ISP provider. The only solution to this problem is to find some free premium link generator and enjoy your unlimited downloads with the same 3G connetion as i do.

Hope this helps to solve your problem!!!

    Thanks
    Suresh

    Hi Folks,

I took BSNL 3G Teracom 7.2 Mbps Data Card on 23-Nov-2010 for Rs. 6900/- (2500 datacard + 4200 six months unlimited plan + 200 sim activation).

To my disappointment, the speed is not at all as claimed. The "upto 3.6 or 7.2 mbps" phrase is too misleading. The downloading speed mostly is as low as 10 to 12 kBps most of the day (shoots upto 50 to 60 kbps occasionally), but is fantastic after midnight.

The data card software is too slow & takes 3 to 4 minutes to detect the card.
So many times, and at so many locations, the device simply is not detected.

Worst of all, I am not able to download files from web sites like rapidshare, hotfile etc (the scenerio is exactly same as Arvind has mentioned).

I am frustated on myself for trusting BSNL & simply going & getting the device without trying for any demo. Also, BSNL didn't gave me a single receipt for the USB card & the SIM saying that this is a "cash & carry" offer. When I called them & asked for refund, they replied that this not possible.

The customer care is quite untrained & unprofessional. Whenever I called them, they were not giving answers to questions that I asked. Rather they were annoyed as I repeated my questions & tried to explain the scenerio to them (since they hardly understand your questions, it appears). Just try asking them the "shared IP" thing, I bet they will not be able to answer that, as they won't be having any clue about it. Moreover, they absolutely have no idea what "File Hosting Sites" are, and are completely unaware of rapidshare, hotfile & other similar sites.

I don't see the shared IP solution in near future. Got to know now that people are waiting for this issue to be resolved since the time the 3G was launched by BSNL.

Guys kindly keep this thread alive. In case you get to know any news for this issue, kindly share.

    Regards,
    Gautam

Try talking to Nodal officer or Appellate authority, ID and phone no. on the backside of your bill.

It is surprising that you are getting such low speeds as most of the people are getting higher. did you try complaining to bsnl and asking them to fix the issue. In worse case scenario you can sell of the card and connection to some friend.

    Hi.......Gautam and ALL

It Happens Because Of Sharing One Static IP With All The Connection which provided by BSNL.
I am also having same problem as gautam have.I asked one of my friend regarding this. He Said that BSNL EVDO also had this problem. And after having much connection BSNL SOLVED This Problem. this issue Will Be Solved.

    But When don't know........
