Thread: How to Configure ATM PVC ?

Hi Everybody,
I have BSNL's BB UL750Plus (512kbps) connection with Type - 1 ADSL2+ CPE/IAD modem. Model name - AN1020-20.

I observe that BSNL's BB speed is pretty volatile in case of speed consistency to end user. It did not stay STABLE not even for 5 seconds. It goes up as like 300kBps and low down-to 0kBps in every 2 seconds so. It's like roller-coaster ride for me; specially when I watching videos on net.

After few search on net, I feel (i don't know it is correct or not) if I configure ATM PVC in Internet Connection Configuration properly; I would get much STABLED speed from connection.

1] How should I Configure it?

2] Which Service Category should I choose - UBR with PCR , CBR , Non Realtime VBR or Realtime VBR ?

3] What for these Service Category real are ?

4] What amount should I fill in Peak Cell Rate, Sustainable Cell Rate, Maximum Burst Size?

5] By the way What r these Peak Cell Rate, Sustainable Cell Rate, Maximum Burst Size ?

modem settings link/s were given earlier .

check mod mode is GDMT. Uncheck Box adsl2 +
