Talking Which boradband plan i go for

I am currently on combo625 plan, but i want to move to a plan with better download rate.

    Modem Information
    Model Name TeraCom T1-B-DSL699E9.4U6-5
    Firmware Version 10.4.3.12.12
Hardware Version Vulcan BSP v0.01 / Vulcan CSP v0.01

    Internet Connection
    Downstream Data Rate 1993 Kbps
    Upstream Data Rate 495 Kbps
Downstream Attainable Data Rate 13546 Kbps
Upstream Attainable Data Rate 699 Kbps
    SNR (Downstream) 39.5 dB
    SNR (Upstream) 18.0 dB
    Line Attentuation(Downstream) 16.0 dB

Please see the attachment also for the snapshot of my connection detail..

Please advise me which plan i can go for with above SNR and attenuation values.. Will 4mbps connection work on such connection or i have to settle with 2mbps.

I am willing to opt 4mbps plan, as i download only 25-30 GB/month..but only if i can get upto ~512KBps on my connection..

    Need an experts advise..

    waiting for much needed help..

    many thanks in advance..

Your SNR and attenuation values are fine. I think you will get 4 Mbps without any trouble. But speed depends on a lot more other factors. If you are ok with 8 GB , you can ULF 900 plan. I think the better plan will be ULF 1350. It gives 2 Mbps upto 20 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 20 GB. This the only plan which gives you 512 Kbps after FUP. I am using UL 750 with 512 Kbps unlimited. Quite happy with it. Best plan to seed. Download speed is also decent. UL plans means no extra bills too.

Yes. UL 499 gives 256 Kbps unlimited for Rs. 499. Telephone rent and modem rent will be extra.

There are no free calls for this plan. If you want free call, switch to UL 625. Same as UL 499 in terms of speed (256 Kbps), but there are 100 free calls. In UL 499, you need to pay telephone rent extra (as per existing plan).

You can go for a wifi modem at a rent of Rs. 80 per month. Tax is 10.3%.

Hope I addressed all points. If in doubt, feel free to ask.
