Thread: 750C+ plan gives speed around 2 Mbps

hiii friends,
i got some shocking news,

BEFORE I START THIS IS NOT A FAKE ITS TRUE

my friend got a new bsnl connection around 4 months before he applied for 750C+ plan which is UL plan... the shocking part is that when i gone to his home and checked the speed it was giving him around 2Mbps speed...

How it is possible

i have same plan i am not getting that much speed...

i was his home for around 2 hours i was constantly checking speed in utorrent he was getting around 215KBps. he downloaded 1movie which was 700mb in 1hr and 3 min,

He has iphone 4g i also checked the speed of net through a app. which is speedtest.net
it was arround 1.68Mbps

So is it possible to get that much speed in my pc

and his bill is also comes around Rs. 850/-

You will get 2 Mbps unlimited for 15 days if you take a new connection. Me too on UL 750. No such options as of now.

but his connection is around 4-5 months old yaar...

May be some lucky error from BSNL side.

ya ...he is very luck he only downloads HD movies and need to satisfy with dvdrip...i am feeling jealous...

this can happen in cases when someone lives in an apartment where the building has a PABX. My friend living in one such society and another friend living in army colony get the same deal.

Guys, all the BSNL plans give the speed upto 2 MBps, and people do get the speed of that order. The actual speed depends upon your line conditions.


For instance, I am a BSNL Broadband user for the last three years. And completely satisfied with the performance. My house is just about 50 meters from the Telephone Exchange building, where Broadband DSLAM equipment is installed. And the line condition is just perfect.
