Thread: BSNL on looting spree

hello,
My name is Piyush jaiswal. I m having the BSNl Broadband plan of Combo plan of home 500. The problem is that they are showing additional usage apart from free usage of 1.5 Gb and night unlimited. I dont know on what basis they r calculating the broadband usage moreover the new website they r displaying also doesnt show the total usage including the night unlimited .It was good with the old website but since when they had launch the new website it's not showing the proper usage.
It is also not properly displaying the session in which I had downloaded increase the difficulties. Apart for this they r also not displaying the prewious mont usage.I think they r hiding info. frm the customer which they deserve n charging unnecessarily. I m the MCA-II year student n knows all the thing about computers. Broadband at home is also not new to me as I m having since past 4 years. I know my download limit and I also know that night unlimited start from night 2:00 am to 8:00 am n try to download in the free session only. I m residing in Nagpur,Maharashtra.
Plz help M in deep trouble.

Make sure that the start and end time falls in the 2 - 8 slot. ie, even if you do not download anything till 2.00 am, but your connection started from 1.15 am, you will be charged.

Use a good bandwidth meter to check the usage. Most of us use it. Try one from Shaplus or Networx.

Delete your email ID to avoid spam.
How much BSNL has "looted" you ? and did you pay?

Nice to know that you know all the things about computers, in 2nd year MCA.

perhaps even the PhDs are agreeing that what they know is a drop of an ocean !!!!
If the BSNL would have looted from public, it should not be under utter losses at all, but that is not so. OK, How long do you think BSNL can loot without loosing business?Don't you feel there also experts both financial, Technical and computers, and don't want to loose business in this competitive world, and thus they would be cautious? I am not telling all this just because I was in BSNL. Those days I always used to support customers for their grievances.

Hope you recall the saying that one cant deceive all and for ever without getting hammered?

Let us try to agree that an individual or organisation can err but not deliberately blunder short term gain.

As suggested by others, try to program your logging at 02-15 or so and close before 8 say 07-45 itself.

download is free from 2am to 8 am only
and tell us how much bill has bsnl actually sent you
