IS your modem has mac filtering enabled check it..and provide thier you cell phone mac address or of any device u want to connect ...or simply disable that feature...then configure your modem in PPPoE mode with correct ID and password...then try i sure you it will be connected

You can access both either in pppoe or bridge connection. I hope u knw the difference in both.
So, i would say first u should decide in which way u wanna go? because both has different process...

Most of the people use pppoe because it is easier to go....but as far as bridge is concerned, one computer will be the Main PC which will share the internet connection with client computer.

I think u r in bridge now, so which one u want a pppoe (Always ON connection) or u wanna stay in bridge?

Okay you can do....I'll help u
But first tell me how many PC's & Laptop do u have? which OS do u using in each of them?
Do u know how to share files via LAN? because here we will going to share Internet Connection like we share files which known as ICS.
If u know then i'll tell u from the second step. Otherwise its ok, dont worry i'll guide u frm the beginning.

Actually i want to connect only 1 desktop pc and 1 laptop ..
I am using windows7 on both PC and laptop.
And i know how to share file over lan but u can start from the beginning coz there would be many person who may suffer the same so they can also know the process from our conversation. It will actually act like a guide to them ..
The main problem that i am facing while establishing the connection was whenever i am connecting over PPPOE then both get connected but whenever i am connecting over bridge then only one get connected at a same time..
so please help me out how to get rid of this problem...

Ok well it is easier to enable ICS in xp. Enabling File sharing is easier in win7 than in xp. Just we need to switch to 64bit encryption in win7 when it comes to share with xp, so we dont need here only disable password option.
Wht we do in xp is to put a dialup (wht we use to dial a userid & pass) connection in share, just open a network connection, and goto its properties and enable share. Once u enable ur lan ip will be automatically reset. Then we change to
    192.168.1.2
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.1
    192.168.1.1
and in ur client pc (i mean in ur laptop)
    give a ip like this
    192.168.1.3
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.2
    192.168.1.2
and then connect ur dextop, allow ur firewall or disable it & u'll see internet access in ur laptop also. U can either use ur lan or wlan.

I hope this help. Sorry for late reply actually im going to Mumbai so because of prepairing im was nt able to post. This post may contain errors coz i've posted with my cheap mobile. It may not effective, i'll b back after few days. Tell me if u've any problem, i'll try my best to get u rid of this problem.
