    Default wireless signal range

    iam using type 2 modem , a 2mpbs connection. iam getting connected to my laptop with out any fuss, but my brother who is in the next flats wants to use this connection thru his mobile phone and its getting connected , but to a certain distance only, is there any way to increase the signal strength, so it can reach to the next flats???


    pls some one help me if u can.

    Keep your router in an easily accessible area. Near to window or near you your brother's flat as much as possible.

    i think the easiest one is to place the router near the window facing the flat.

    though this sounds funny, it surely helped in many cases.especially for Bsnl E.V.D.O.
