    To check the order status,

    1. Log into data.bsnl

    2. Under postpaid orders, enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and hit " search order ". No need to enter the customer no.

    3. Check whether plan status is provisioned and effective date.

Just check the order status and I can able to see this.

I have also received a message from a BSNL number letting me know that the plan change will take effect from 1/12/2010.
I am little worried about so fast action from BSNL.

Everything is in order. You can start using from 1st of December. If you are using beyond 12 am today, disconnect the connection a little after 12.00 am otherwise the usage will be included in the November session.

Do update your speed here. Anything around 55 - 60 is a good speed for this plan.

I am getting around 60 -70 KBps. Your speed is very good. In fact, the maximum possible on this plan.

Download any file from Microsoft and report the speed. That will give you the actual speed.
