Thread: port forwarding for teracom

Hi, I have T1-B-DSL699E9.4U6-5 Teracom model. I want to use utorrent. How to go about this? What settings to make in utorrent and w.r.t port forwarding in teracom.Pls help

1. Which mode are you using ? If bridge mode, there is no need for port forwarding.

I am using ppoe mode.
1. In the link that you gave, it says that I need to setup a static ip.
Is it necessary? I mean is that allowed by BSNL?

2. In utorrent, I have 2 checkboxes, enable UPnP port mapping and enable NAT-PMP port mapping. Should both these boxes be unchecked?

1. It is asking you to configure an internal static IP not an external one. Hence it is quite in your right to configure an internal static IP. Go ahead.

2. I have checked both boxes. My utorrent is giving excellent speed.
