Thread: A very wierd problem...

I recently checked my bsnl usage on the portal....it showed me i had downloaded 15.56gb of data....today i again checked the portal and it still showing me same one...i changed my modem becoz of the one i had broke...i also configured it on bridge connection....so please help me as i m in denial...also does changing the mode of connection i.e.pppoe to bridge affects the usage????i am using BSNL 750 unlimited...help will be really appreciated

No, your usage do not depend on your mode of connection. It can be bridge or PPPoE, same effect.

BSNL portal do not update in real time manner. At times, they take time to update their usage details of earlier dates. Use a bandwidth meter like Shaplus or Networx to keep an eye on your usage details.

again i may be asking a foolish question but i can be assured that i have no limit of downloading in bsnl 750 unlimited????....no extra charges will be added???

I am using UL 750. The main reason I am on an UL plan is that the bill amount is just Rs. 750 + tax irrespective of how you use it. Don't worry, you can use Bridge or PPPoE any of your choice.
