    1. Are you able to download during 2 - 6 slot ? May be because you are downloading which consumes full bandwidth. Lessen the speed in utorrent.

    2. May be because of ling congestion. Where do you live ( Circle )? Talk to the senior divisional engineer and check. Call customer care and ask for his no.

Go to data.bsnl.in > log in using your 14 digit portal ID > postpaid orders > Enter phone no. in the prescribed format > No need to enter " service user ID " > Hit search order > Now you can find your current plan and the date form which it is effective. Hope it is clear now. If in doubt, feel free to ask.

Make regular follow up calls, that is the only way to deal with BSNL.

Yes, there is a # between std code and land line no. No need to put the zero in beginning of STD code.

    It should be like

You mean free calls ? There is no provision as of now. You need to call customer care for this.

In Chennai circle Selfcare page for telephones only
Fortnightly reading is updated. You can check first 15 days usage only.

There are Telephone instruments which total the number of calls made.

HI You have not given your location.I am in mysore and have home 500c plan with wi fi.I use it max during 5 am to 8 am.the speed is very good.the modem is ITI DNA-A211-1.It takes about 45 secs to come online when switched on but the speed is good especially in the early morn 5 am to 8 am.I see most of the reports about slow speed seem to be from north Indian cities.
