    Unhappy 216.137.37.191 eating bandwidth.. ?

    My comp is always connected to some ip 216.137.37.191 ... whois shows its of amazon... it has gud amount of download.. like 2 3 MB at startup... pulls huge bandwidth.,... may i know whats dat for and any way to stop dat??

    Use a firewall and block the IP.

    R u sure it wont cause unstability?? coz its ran by svchost.exe ... its system file right?

    Blocking won't cause any problem. Very are simply denying its connection to net. If it is a virus, it may cause some issue. Some malwares use svchost.exe too.

    You can alway change allow the status to allow.

    (a) Is this your Home page ?
    change it.
    (b)Download Ccleaner from filehippo.com and use it to clear old files cache etc.
    Also has new option in Tools to delete Old System Restore Points.

    Type the same IP in address bar .
    do you get Amazon Page ?
    if Firewall has blocked the site disable it.
