    Default DNA A201 BEI modem

I want to use the USB port for the second system. I have already instaled the USB driver. Under new hardware wizard,it shows "the device is working properly.Though the network is showing as "Connected", internet is not getting connected.

    1. Configure your modem in PPPoE.

    2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

    3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection, set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

Access the modem menu with USBport
    connected to computer.
Allot 192.168.1.2 as default gateway for USB port
    192.168.1.1 for LAN mode.

Your unit seems same as UT300r2u model.

Internet is comming only in one system either in lan or usb. Does not come simultaneously in both.

Except Configuring in PPPoE whixh I am unable to do since I do not know the procedure; I have tried point no. 2 and 3. The internet is comming in one system either in lan or USB. Does not come simultaneously in both. In my home I installed the driver and got the internet in both lan and USB simultaneously. Same thing, I am not getting in my office system.

Are you using Bridge mode ? Means you need to click " connect " on a dialer to access internet ?

To configure the modem in PPPoE or also known as " Always ON "

    1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

    2. ID and password is admin.

    3. Check the WAN page, you will find an entry with 0_35.

    4. Click " Edit " and browse through pages. You will find an option to choose between Bridge and PPPoE.

Log in to the modem, post a screen shot of modem menu page and the listing with 0_35. Totally 2 screen shots.

Post the links without http://www. for example, tinypic.com/is25568.jpg

    Post your ipconfig/all data too.

    Procedure:

    Start > Run >cmd > ipconfig/all , post the screen shot.

Default DNA A 201 BEI modem

Sorry, there has been some changes to the setup. Our IT officer has changes the entire setup. Now, there are two systems. One is server another is client. Internet is available only with the client. Is it possible to have the internet in the server PC as well?

    Read thread from beginning.
Set modem to "ALways On " mode.PPP/PPPoE
    not " bridged" etc.
Who is "server" and who is "client"
Presume you have two computers, & modem /wifi router under your control, which you want to connect to Internet at the same time.

Default Need Help for DNA A-201

Pls give me a step by step info for entering the broadband username/password in the modem. I am asking this for my young bro back home, who is a novice, and I dont have the modem here with me. I have talked him to go into the main modem menu and he says there are 4 tabs in the menu :-
    1) device Info 2) Advanced Setup, 3) Diagnostics, 4) management

I tried to talk him through the advanced setup menu, but he could not find a username/password input field anywhere. ( Just to let u know- the modem was reset, so we need to put in those details)

Anyone with this modem type pls help Thanks in advance.

Enter VPI/VCI as 0_35. Edit it and you can find to choose an option between PPPoE and Bridge. If you browse through the pages, you can find an option to enter ID and password.
