really man really i was also thinking that it will not work without two adapters but he told, that it will sure work, i was also in a doubt but yes it is possible. If we can serve internet as well as sharing files on a same cable then why not a internet. i'm surprised.

there is also one thing is written in a Help center on windows xp that u must have two adapters. u can also see that. but still it works without it.

The selection not depaind whether you are using the Network Setup Wizard first time or not. Select the first option when your computer is a server and it has client computer.

select the second option when your computer is a client of a server and when your computer surfing the internet through a server.

If I know the exact name of the file then I will add manually to it, also how can i limit a internet speed for client without doing anything in laptop only with router or dextop
Use Kaspersky Internet Security this is best for auto configuration the windows system work. You donot need manually configure the windows system work.
You can limit the internet speed by using a software name NetLimiter. Advanced user needed for the setting of bandwidth limit.

    You are right

Why using One NIC working for sharing the Internet to it's client

In NIC you use the IP address, this is a private IP address. when you are log in to BSNL you get the Public IP address on the same NIC virtually. When you enable the share internet from Advanced tab of WAN Miniport the NAT is working between private IP and Public IP and work as a server and if that server has client and using the IP address of that server as a gateway then it can surf the internet.

^^^ I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and this is true that the license verification error will appear if the license key is not genuine. the site warez-bb.org and projectw.org daly update the new key so when your key get black listed update the key from there.

I am happly to hear that you know now how to setup the ICS using only one LAN card. For DNS use the google DNS.

Your modem did not have the DNS setup thats why it's not working. If you enable the DNS and manually put the Google DNS or BSNL dns on your modem it will work. But this is not mandatory, use DNS on your LAN it will also work.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 (v11.0.0.232) and the key of expiry date of 1-feb-2011, i can apply the key successfully but can't update it. I always try offline update. do u update directly from the web?? or it will be very grateful if u will send me ur key.

Nope. I enable it and try DNS as 192.168.1.1, it was showing the internet access.

but web browser can not display the pages.

this was the message coming up every time, when I click ok on TCP/IP

but both were working fine, u can see multiple networks in above screen shot in red box, and also the LAN was again showing a Wireless Network as before, and now I rename it to Network only.

I update from online and if give you the key which is for single user will get blacklisted. Some crack available on warez-bb.org and prozectw.org for Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. You can try it.
