    Thumbs down

Hi i am also searching for the firmware. I have seen the same question in huawei support site and the reply is always the same..."Contact your ISP".. well BSNL as we all kow is not bothered. Benefit of being a govt organization. Well so lets throw out the crappy Huawei and get info on someone who is willing to back the product they make. someone who is comitted to deliver the best to their customers

    with simpathies

    Hi essbebe/Superprash2003

Thank you essbebe for the url . Unfortunately it does not have the firmware i am looking for.

My moden is higly unstable now. i drops connection evey 2-3 minutes. The line is clear. Itried with a different modem and it works ok.

I was trying to see if it was the firmware instability that was causing the prob.

Since i could not find firmware, I reset my moden (using reset key ) and now modem is back to factory settings. The problem now is reconfiguraing it back to BSNL settings. If you have the WA1003a series modem, could you PLS give me the configuration so that i can set it back and least connect.

    thanks and Regards

well the link given above by essbebe will configure your modem to connect to BSNL.. regarding the disconnection , you could try disconnecting all telephones temporarily and then making sure that you have splitter in place. if you still face disconnections ( inspite of a good SNR ) then you could think about upgrading firmware, for which you first need another member from this forum who has successfully done so

I have this modem. I have been using this for past 2 years, didnt had any stability issues... Can you post status of LED's when connection drops? also check the system log of the modem. I am sure you find the reason for your disconnection in the log.
