Hi i am jai from chennai. Hi i am using bsnl broadband from Feb 2008 onwards initially i bought the UT300R2U modem from BSNL itself.From October 2010 onwards modem is restarting continously.So i called BSNL local exchange(chintadripet) they said modem warranty period is over.so we not able to replace. so they suggest me to go for TYPE 1 MODEM monthely rental scheme. They told just Rs.50 for every month. and also they said to me if we rented the modem from BSNL once it is faulted they can replace the modem at any time.So i opt to BSNL Type 1 Modem rentally.I submitted the letter regarding modem rent type to local BSNL customer care and i go the new modem(Just diplayed BSNL in modem No Company name & model) with in 2days.after changing the modem , Internet connection is good.
Now i received the november 2010 telephone/broadband bill in which they charged extra Rs.750 (BB Acc Security Deposit Rs.500 + Installation of BB Modem Rs.250 so totally Rs.750). So please suggest me wheather they put the correct charges or they put wrongly.So what should i do wheather to pay Rs.750 or not. I am waiting for your good response.Please help me in this problem
