    1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode.

    2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

    3. In the TCP/IP properties of your systems, set " Obtain IP address automatically".

    Modem/Router:
If you are using a Dialer uncheck "bridged" in WAN page and select PPP/PPPoE.
Enter UserId/PW in wan settings page.
In LAN menu enable DHCP and give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1 8

    laptops/
    Network settings LAn/WLAN
    TCP/IP properties
    Obtain Ip address automatically.

Check my sig link wa 3002_g4 quick reference links for settings.

Do you use a dialer to connect to internet. ie, you need to click " connect " to get connected to internet. Or you can start internet by just switching ON the modem ?

That means you are in bridge mode. You need to change to PPPoE mode to connect two systems simultaneously. If you do not understand the question, don't ignore but ask. Always ready to help

    To do :

Configure the modem in PPPoE. Use the link suggested above.

Enable DHCP in modem ? Do it.
