Thread: Hotmail / Indiabulls not loading

Hi,
Am using BSNL Broadband 512kbps. i am not able to load hotmail and Indiabulls, in addition to some other sites, no errors but the page just does not load.
Other sites like Yahoo, Google, timesoindia work just fine.

I tried setting up public DNS too from google, Open DNS but no luck.

Similar results with other browsers - IE8, Firefox and Chrome.

Any further inputs or suggestions ?

1. Try Opera Turbo.

2. Check using a proxy.

3. Clear browser cache and try.

try Ping on these sites in command prompt ping Sign In
what ping results u get or try google benchmark software for faster dns in ur area.

Ok, here's what i tried so far...mixed results !

Ping does not work on hotmail, partial data lost in transit with Indiabulls.

Secondly, tried with Opera Turbo , mixed results again,
Indiabulls works fine, albeit takes time loading, hotmail still the same issue.

Cleared cache, cookies etc.
How do i setup a proxy and what proxy should i use to check this ?

DNS set to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 currently.

Whether the problem was sudden , and earlier the web sites were available normally

mention modem details and OS used.

USE this application:
TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net.
Set MTU value to 1492 or lower.( also check value if seen in your modem/router)

I resolved this by setting the MTU to 1452.
Thanks for your inputs though, much appreciated, this was a new connection.
I would suggest a sticky for the common issues / troubleshooting .
