Thread: BSNL modem AN1020-20 not connecting to internet

Hello all

I am using bsnl bb for last 4 yrs.... Since then der not been any major problems i face for using bb

But since few weeks back i noticed that i get disconnected to bb suddenly n then it reconnects automatecally after 30 sec.

The frequency of disconnections and reconnections increased over the period.... N now i have no connection at all...

So i took modem n adaptor to bsnl and got it checked they said its perfect.... Der is no problem with it....

Hence they reffered me to line man in my area to check the telephone cable.... But i do not hav any problem with my landline phone. I can use my phone without any glitch

Now the situation is wen i start my modem the 'dsl' indicator constantly glows in amber colour indicating dsl is connected
Wen i told this to lineman he also coild not work out y there no internet on it

Can any1 plz has any solution or point me in right direction....

(1)Try in DSL menu GDMT uncheck box ADSl2 +
Recheck snr/attn.

IN DNS use google 8.8.8.8 and opensdns 208.67.220.220
Recheck snr ATTN. stable connection.

If on "Dialer" mode uncheck "bridged" and select
PPP/PPPoE mode .
