Thread: Multiple modems

I have a zte zxdsl531 B which i am using for broadband
i am on the 900 combo unlimited plan
i want to ask that if i buy another modem and use it on another outlet on the same connection, will it work
if yes can anyone suugest a good modem which has a googd wifi range and good transfer rates
it should not exceed rs 2000

You mean you want to split the line into two and connect using 2 different modems ?

Your 531B has provision to connect 3 more systems in Lan mode and rj45 maximum length 100 meters can be used.
2.Presume you want to use another BSNL Phone junction ( say in First floor ) and have an independant BB connection .
In this method. only one modem will work at a time.

3.AN RJ45 from 531B to another wifi router
at a different location will do.
Example.
Netgear WGR614V9 wifi router .
531B should be always on in PPP/PPPoE mode.
