Seems you have used approx 45 MB data . ( day usage)
    can be 191.72 MB
Does the site show amount in Rupees ?
Unbilled usually shows daily usage and on top a summary is shown
(Chargeable data less free nU) in MB or GB

From this your free quota is deducted say 1.5 GB or 2.5 GB etc.

Please post screen shot of the page.

Default Why should modem be switched off at these times?

[QUOTE=essbebe;311166]Your first telephone bill may reach you around Jan 10th 2011.

    3. Night unlimited. Now a days Bsnl portal meter
keeps record of NU exactly in most cases.
Anyway , ensure modem is switched off around 0155 AM and again at 0755 AM
For you format may be different.
    I am on Home 750 U/L plan

Hey essbebe ... why do u suggest that the modem be switched off around 0155 AM and again at 0755 AM?

Reduce font size for a reply.
Thanks. Bold fonts in messages considered as "shouting" in Internet
    usage.
the usage meter readings in some circles do not change at exactly (a)0200AM , thereby recording as chargeable d/l earlier to this period
    (b)
    and at 0800AM :
giving a small benefit of free d/l if download starts at say 0755
AM and continues upto 0825AM( usually30 minutes block was used )

Now a days in some self care usage portal sites the usage is shown separately for 0800AM to 0200AM block
    and 0200AM -0800AM block.
Mine at data.bsnl.in ( Chennai circle) Home 750u/l

Check your portal how the meter readings are shown.

Many users have schedulers to download during NU period.
Modem is switched on at 0205 AM and switched off at 0755AM
to give a margin for time/clock error.

    Default Thanks

That was my first post. I did not realize that it would end up so big. Is there a way to highlight selected text?
I am new to this portal. I got a BSNL BB recently but have still not checked out the full details. What you were referring to is applicable to the Night Usage schemes. I guess it is ok with me because mine is an unlimited plan.

I don't know the reason, but all the 500C & 500C+ user of my locality is getting above 4Mbps speed including me. Can any one explain?

No reports yet. May be a temporary phenomena. Members from other parts of the country are silent.

Checked BSNL site too. No notification. Home 500 plans badly needed an upgrade. Really hope this is one.

Yes, you are right. No notification yet. But 2 - 3 friends of mine reported that they are getting more than 4Mbps under the same plan 500C+ while I was gettting only 2Mbps. At this point I compared the DSL statistics of them with mine. It was found that they are having downlink 8189 and uplink 508 & mine was 2044 downlink & uplink was 11**. Then I took the printout of these parameter and contacted BSNL. They told me that all the ports of our tele exchange are updated to 8Mbps but unfortunately mine was left to 2Mbps & iimidiately they updated mine and now the results are posted. (Though I am getting arround 4 - 5 Mbps still & not 8 Mbps.
