Thread: Please Help First Bill - 750 Unlimited

Hello All,

Desperately need your help in understanding the first bill as below:

Local Call Charges 2
Rent from 28-11-2010 to 01-12-2010 18
Accessory Rental 2506.85
Misc Facility Charges 3550
Service Tax 311.77
Less Adjustments Amount 500

So the total amount that i got is 5889. This is like shooting on my face at close range.....

Mine is a type 2 and i think i have indicated in the application to purchase it. Any help will be appreciated. Before this bill I had only paid 500 as security deposit at the time of submitting the application. What the hell is the facility charges???

I tried to go to my branch and asked them to no effect... they said my file is not there with him and it has been moved or something....

I will have to call the customer care then..

What is the Tariff plan you selected ?
Have you opted for outright purchase of type 2 modem ( WIFI Rs 1800/= + taxes )
Have you opted for discounted annual payment of BB?

My plan is 750 home unlimited.
Yes i have opted to purchase the modem,

But for your other question of yearly payment or not, i am not sure because i dont remember specifying anything like that in the application form.

Type 2 modem is what i have which is the accessory rental of 2506 specified in the bill but i dont quite understand the misc facility charges of 3500.

What was the final bill amount ?

One months BB rent as security Rs 750/=
month's BB rent .......................Rs 750/= excess deduction
Installation charges ..................Rs 250/=
Modem purchase type II............Rs 1800/=
Misc ...................................... Rs 3550/= (*Probably )

Again charged for modem cost Rs 1800/=
Telephone Installation/Instrument or calls security deposit.......????
unspecified ........Rs 6.85/( *odd amount !)

The bill that i got is indeed correct.
You are correct on the Misc charges. He said that the security and other charges are re-fundable at the termination of the connection. ( ~1500/-)

The other one which is accessory rental is the combination of the call charges and the monthly rental of 750 till far. This is high because it is a yearly payment. So he said one more bill i will be getting in March for this year.

This is what i can remember... I had wrote the details somewhere but i lost it somewhere during the new year party...

The A.O is misleading you, and he will send a reply to the Online complaint Dept that the customer has agreed to pay the bill. amount.

Your post/reply here is also pretty vague, and it is your money.

Nowhere a bill is sent showing part Dec and Jan 1st ( inclusive!)

When you have purchased the modem/ no need to pay Security Deposit or rental !! (type 2),
BB rent @ Rs 750/=pm if paid on annual basis will be Rs 7500/=if opted for an annual payment ( No question of Instalments )
