    Default Dialer problem

    Hi,
Im using DLink GLB 802C modem for BSNL broadband connection.
Im having 500 Home Plan with bandwidth Limit 2.5GB and Night Unlimited.
Im having problem with modem, I bought new DLink Modem but this modem connects to net without dialer due to which I had exceeded my monthly usage.
Please help me to solve this issue.

    Thank you in advance...

    Access menu items of modem
In WAN page select 0_35 edit
    Uncheck box PPPOA/PPPoE
    select "bridged"
SAVE REBoot wait for 2 minutes.
    Use Dialer to connect.
    feedback.
Confirm you have Installation cd and user manual.
    presume new modem is GLB802C.

Simply switch off the modem after use. Even if you didn't switch off, the data transfer will be minimum. PPPoE or Always ON mode is considered as more secure than dialer mode.

Most of us use a bandwidth meter to keep track of our usage. Get one from Shaplus or Networx.

ANY settting in any adsl modem is same. for"BRIDGED" mode.
You have to do the same settings given in post No 2.
Did you compare Old U/I for GLB802C ( I hope you have one and NEW GLB802C purchased recently.

You have not confirmed whether you got Installation cd and or
    user manual.

English LANGUAGE usage : Is it so difficult to understand my post ?

    @ vaishnav83

Try this scheduler. I think it can reboot your modem in both PPPoE and Bridge mode.

    Auto-connect Download scheduler PC-Gyaan

    @vaishnav83
congrats. You solved your problem, but do not want other users/members to know what was the solution .

You claimed you have user manual/installationcd for GLB802C
Also the menu pages are different.
@essbebe im using the new DLink GLB 802c modem... wich has different UI thn old DLink GLB 802c... but thnx for reply ... need to look for different solution...
No explanation for this or screen shots.
of the solution to your own problem !!!

Imagine you access this thread after a period of time
and find no mention of the solution !!!
So you tried a "different solution" !!!!!!

I Posted the link to the manual ( which i got from Dlink originally)
for other new members usage, who may read this thread at a later date.
