Thread: Wifi & Lan internet not working simultaneously on router

Hi, I am using a Nokia Siemens router for internet BSNL. The ADSL is connected directly to this router and am connected to internet through ethernet wire to one of the ports behind the router onto my first laptop. The problem is that now when i want to connect my other laptop through Wifi, first i have to unplug the ethernet or switch off the internet on my first laptop, only then does the wifi connect to the internet on the 2nd laptop. Same is the problem when i try using the 3rd desktop pc using ethernet wire. I have to switch off the internet on my 1st laptop, then only i can logg on to internet on desktop also. Kindly help. 1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode.

2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

Hope 1st laptop has also has wlan ethernet card.

Connect adsl modem rj45 to Desktop.
Both laptops in wifi mode without any wires.
