Default Plan change from UL625 to 600C upto 2Mbps

I had changed my plan from Home Unlimited 625 (256 Kbps) to 600 combo limited plan with speeds upto 2 Mbps. I have checked the dataone usage portal and it is giving me a confirmation.

"Current Service BBG FN Combo 600; Speed upto 2 Mbps "

But i do not see any change in my downoad speed even after plan change. I tried calling the BSNL cc.but as it was new yr eve no one answered properly...a guy even told me that the plan change has been done but it will take some time for confirming the same.

My question is does it take few days for the speed to increase to the new plan??

SOme of my othr info are as given below:

Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 256
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 8064
    LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1
    Default Gateway: 59.92.112.1
    Primary DNS Server: 218.248.241.5
    Secondary DNS Server: 61.1.96.69

    SNR Margin (dB): 10.5 31.0
    Attenuation (dB): 37.0 20.0
    Output Power (dBm): 8.9 19.8
    Attainable Rate (Kbps): 8576 1120
