    Smile bsnl-wifi problem in itouch

    guys i have a bsnl type 2 modem...
    im nt able to connect to wifi in my itouch...
    i tried 192.168.1.1 to change the modem settings...
    non of the sites are being opened in my explorer in my laptop.... i attched the ipconfig file...wa3002-g1 is the model number of my modem...

    my modem is adsl type...

    if u people can help me out..!!

    Please post the info in easily accessible manner. and edit and delete data not relevant.
    Copy/Paste ipconfig /all after modifications in modem &system settings.

    Suggestion 1 :
    From above it appears you are using a Dialer Mode.
    ( USERID/PW entered in dialer window of Computer )
    In WAN page of modem de select "bridged" and select PPP/PPPoE mode. Enter UserId/Pw in wan page.
    Enable DHCP and give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10
    Save reboot. Wait for two minutes.
    Suggestion 2 :
    In all systems Network LAN WLAN
    Properties
    Un check IPV6 box
    select TCP/IP
    Properties
    Select Obtain IP address automatically.
    Apply SAVE.

    thanks for the reply...

    i tried that ipv4 annd ipv6 ... they are already set to"obtain ip address auotomatically"

    how do i go to WAN page??

    type in addresss bar 192.168.1.1 admin PW admin.
    Download user manual.

    i tried that... explorer says "page cannot be connected"...

    none of the sites related to 192.168.1.1. or 2.2 0r 1.33 are being opened...

    START
    Network
    LAN
    Properties
    New page
    select TCP/IP
    properties
    Enter
    192.168.1.10
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.1
    apply save.
    Now try modem access.
