Thread: bsnl broadband low speed problem

hello,im using bsnl broadband 256kbps speed plan. but from the first day itself iam getting a 20~30kbps download speed only. where should i complain and how to increase the speed at least 90~100kbps. plz help me...

Kbps or KBps ?

32 KBps = 256 Kbps

Go to speedtest.net, perform a speed test and post the forum link here.

20 -30 KBps is normal speed for 256 Kbps unlimited connection.

you said, you are using bsnl broadband 256kbps speed plan. you will get 25-32 KB/sec speed. if you want to increase your speed, change your plan. take BB USOF 899. It gives 1 Mbps unlimited.

hey guys..i have iBSNL broadband connection of 512 kbps...normally i would get speed around 60-70 kBps..but from last week i'm getting extremely low speed...sometimes i cannot even browse the websites and the speed remain around 3-4 kBps and wont go up more than 10kBps...please tell me what to do

sorry guys i have fixed the issue...the problem was in my modem..i changed the cable port from the computer to my modem...and the speed is back to normal...
