    Default Can I trust WakeupOnStandby for automatic downloading at night?

    From many days I m using WakeupOnStandby for downloading stuffs from 2am to 8am as I have internet connection of BSNL (500 COMBO Plan). And now i m going out of station for 6 days and mean while i want to keep my download running. so I wanted to know that can I trust this software: WakeupOnStandby????, which will automattically start at 2am and will go to hibernate at 8am and it will continue till i return. So what you people say I can trust on WakeupOnStandby??

    If you check in BSNL usage portal the usage meter seems to split the readings at 0200AM 0800AM automatically for all tariff plans.
    Recheck. or make a test download/surf say between 0745AM and 0845AM and confirm.

    Make sure your torrent client is set to not download/upload anything outside of the 2:15-7:45am window.

    Set up a few batch files that kill processes that might download and have windows scheduler to run them.

    taskkill /F /IM Starcraft_2_NA_en-US.exe

    something like the above replacing sc2 with the app you want to kill - utorret/azureus or w/e.

    Use a 3rd party utility like the one you are talking about to automatically connect to the internet at around 2:10am and disconnect at 7:45 am.
    [Personally I use a s/w called Free Download Manager, there are tons of free tools that do the same thing]

    BSNL still doesn't calculate usage properly if you don't disconnect before 8am, so definitely do that.
